The silicone cover does not affect the accuracy of measurements in the basic application of temperature recorders, which are measurements of environmental conditions. It has little effect on the speed of changes in the recorders indications. At the customers request, we provide a test report of temperature recorders tested with and without an additional silicone cover.

REMARK: Proper operation of the silicone cover requires its periodic removal from the housing to allow moisture to escape, which may have entered with pressure changes. The manufacturer recommends that you take off the cover once every two weeks, for about 8 hours.
