Single-phase charging cables for max. 7.4 kW/32 A are generally used for charging a hybrid vehicle at home – A cable length of 10 meters is suitable for variable and hard to reach charging stations
For charging outdoors, the charging cable complies with protection class IP55 (water jet-proof), which means that a secure connection is possible between charging station and charging socket (charging inlet)
For straight vehicle charging cables, the indicated length is fully usable – It can be wrapped around the electric vehicle so that the parking position is no longer determined by the position of the charging station
Thanks to IEC type 2 plug and jack (EU standard IEC 62196-2), the mode 3 cable can be used at nearly any charging station and wallbox in Europe to charge electric cars and other electric vehicles
