DN 40mm (40/46) Type Delfin INLET GASKET (fitting socket/rubber gland/insitu insert/HOFIT gasket/double socket gasket) is used for additional connections of smooth-walled casing pipes with a diameter of 40mm. The inlet gasket seals the passage between the pipe and the connection made in smooth pipes, tanks, water meter wells, telecommunication wells, energy wells and all tanks or casings with smooth walls. In order to embed the gasket, you need to cut a hole with a diameter of 46mm.

The gasket is made of a flexible, durable EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) rubber compound, and is characterized by:

- high resistance to aging and weather conditions, ozone and UV radiation
- resistance to organic and inorganic acids, cleaning agents, potassium and sodium alkalis
- maintaining its properties in the temperature range from -50°C to +130°C
- flexibility and susceptibility to stretching
- good memory of the original shape
